Michael Blake JP MNZIM
Michael’s most recent positions have been in senior management where he was instrumental in significant organisational change. Originally trained as an accountant/auditor some 30 years ago, Michael has worked in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and England in a wide variety of industries for companies of varying sizes from family-owned to multi-nationals.
Michael works with individuals exploring their potentials and with companies where he can quickly assess the future potential and suggest the changes required to grow the organisation.
Michael is a Member of the NZ Institute of Management and a Justice of the Peace for New Zealand. He also had an international career as a Tenor Soloist and currently coaches individual singing students and High School Vocal Groups. ...more
Glenese Blake
Glenese was the winner of the inaugural Dame Sister Mary Leo Scholarship and a finalist in the Mobil Song Quest. Awarded an Arts Council Scholarship to study overseas, Glenese pursued a successful singing career with many opera, oratorio and concert appearances both in England and New Zealand.
Whilst living in England, an interest in vocal pedagogy developed and Glenese was asked to be a founding member of the British Voice Association, teaching at the Marylebone Voice and Therapy Unit, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and in private practices in London and in Bedford.
Most recently, she was Senior Lecturer in Voice, School of Music, University of Auckland, a post she held for seven year and currently she is teaching and working on her Master of Arts (Art Therapy) degree. ...more
